flash enhanced by our patented SanDisk flash management technology. SanDisk SSD

High Performance
Using a SATA II interface and an industry standard micro SATA connector, SanDisk
SSD SATA 5000 1.8" has been especially designed to cater to laptop users. With no
mechanical moving parts and therefore no latency and negligible access time, SanDisk
SSD SATA 1.8" 5000 achieves a sustained read rate of 66 megabyte (MB)1/sec and a
random read rate of over 7000 inputs/outputs per second (IOPS) for a 512-byte transfer2
– more than 100 times faster than any hard disk drive. These performance figures
boost system performance. SanDisk SSD achieves an average file access rate of 0.1
milliseconds.3
